About Us.

Pitmaster Darryl has been around home cooking all his life. From the days of being a little kid watching his grandmother and mom cook to the times hanging out with friends and relatives cooking at backyard style barbecues. A seed had been planted.

However, as a youth, sports took precedence and therefore put cooking/barbecue on the back burner, at least for now. Once out of college and a move to Arizona, the seed would start growing. Due to the lack of good barbecue options in his new state, Darryl slowly took matters in his own hands.

After buying a smoker and having his backyard cookouts, friends begin to whisper, “Darryl you may have something going on here”. It didn’t stop there, Darryl started smoking meat for friends and soon begin calling home to his mom, inquiring about family recipes and voila, the path had been laid.

Hi passion has evolved into not only smoking barbecue but also, serving quality health-conscious food and awesome customer service. Our pursuit will include collaborating with locally-owned and operated food producers.  This will help us focus on helping the local community and continue our push to remain organically conscious.

Darryl has now been in and around the barbecue business for the last 20+ years. His experiences have taken him to different countries, states, participating in various festivals and events.  Darryl has seen and learned the pitfalls, the struggles but have also witness the joy and the accomplishments of reaching goals. Running a business is never easy but with the right team, planning, and a little help along the way, the impossible is now a reality.
